Rick has over 30 years of experience in the development and management of strategic communications campaigns. He has created and implemented campaigns around the world addressing a variety of issues and causes. He is also the founder of Empower Peace, a nonprofit to bridge the cultural divide between youth worldwide. In his free time, Rick enjoys country music, the DJIA, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Director of Photography
Doug has the best job in the company. Every time something/someone needs to be shot, it's him who gets to go, whether it's just down the street or on the other side of the world, from presidents to bus drivers and everything in between. Oh yeah, he edits the stuff too, even at home...which doesn't really please the family. But hey...when you love what you do, is it really work?
Senior Vice President
Tricia has over 20 years’ experience in public and media relations, special event coordination, media advertising and public education campaigns. She specializes in developing and implementing statewide public outreach campaigns and organizing press conferences and special events throughout the country and abroad. She loves spending time with her husband, two teenage daughters, and enormous dog.
John joined TRG in 1991 as a video producer, writer, and accounts manager. Since then he has been involved with all facets of production work, but his favorite activity is creative development. He also directs most of the company's multi-camera shots at events. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two EMMY Awards as a writer. He enjoys SCUBA diving, motorcycles, and dog shows.
Vice President, Special Events
Kari joined TRG in 1999. She has worked on events ranging from 20 to 15,000 people. She brings over 17 years' experience in event planning and public awareness and education campaigns. Clients have included the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Coalition, Department of Public Health, the EOPSS and the DEP. Kari graduated from Northeastern University and enjoys Broadway and professional hockey and soccer.
Special Events + Video Producer
Professional storyteller and global production pain reliever with over 25 years experience in video production, including documentary, advertising, public relations, news, and corporate projects. Event production from receptions to stadiums. Logistics wizard with fierce negotiating skills and wicked sense of humor, always providing unparalleled customer service. Strengths include producing, directing, coordination of domestic and international productions, securing crews, conducting interviews, script writing, budgeting, scheduling, post production supervision, and client management.
We are thrilled to have interns join our team throughout the year. We have had students from Northeastern University, Emerson College, Boston University, Tufts University, the University of Edinburgh, and more.

Kira Topalian is a junior at Northeastern University majoring in International Affairs and double-minoring in History and Theatre. She is spending six months at Empower Peace on co-op and is loving every day! Kira hopes to pursue work in international conflict resolution, peace and reconciliation, and human rights. She is eager to learn, travel, and expand on her skills, and has a passion for justice.
